I took over my mother's safe deposit box when she died. And have been using it since then. But when I tried to access it last week they said they never got a copy of her death certificate. I've used the box since her death and took her name off accounts, these thing require a death certificate. So they had to have had one. Corporate confirms there is one in the file. Worst Wells Fargo in the triad, passive aggressive and unprofessional.
My wife and I created a Living Trust and were advised by our lawyer and our accountant to change the beneficiaries on our savings and checking accounts to the trust. The first contact was with a smaller branch in High Point. These people had no clue as to what needed to be done and as a matter of fact told us that it was not necessary because the sums involved were so small. We left. We contacted a larger branch in Greensboro thinking that perhaps they had had more experience and would have someone that had done this before.... read more
I was a little nervous about coming to this location because of some of the reviews, but I had a really good experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Denise Edwards helped me open my account she explained everything clearly and made the process easy. I’m glad I chose this branch and definitely recommend it!
