Tried to take my daughter in to open her first bank account. After waiting through the line for tellers, we were told that we “needed a banker” to do this, and they had none. Would be happy to schedule an appointment next week, she said. Gave two stars on review because she was polite, at least, but the idea that there is absolutely NO ONE on staff other than two overworked tellers (and one guy wandering around, allegedly “helping” them) is absolutely ludicrous on a Friday afternoon, shortly after lunchtime. Do better.
This bank is horrendous. The ATM's mobile tap will not work correctly. I've had problems withdrawing and depositing money at times as well. Wells Fargo is still trying to recover from multiple scandals, and this branch is no exception. Be wise and move your money to a responsible banking institution.
Extremely slow service.
My sister has a Wells Fargo account. Each year she sends my grandson a check for his birthday. When he is coming to my house for a visit we stop at the Cherrydale branch to cash the check. They have always cashed the $50 check with no problem. Today they refused. The teller told me she couldn't cash it. I said well you cashed it last year and the year before that. She said she couldn't and why didn't I take it to my own bank ? I said is this a new policy? She said no. She pushed the check and my ID back to me and told me to ... read more
