Recently sold a car to Carmax and they gave me a check with Wells Fargo‘s name on it. Funds are in my account. Yet I am being told. I cannot withdraw money. I have to wait an additional five days to draw a single dollar out of my account even though it’s showing funds available. Once I am able to, I plan to withdraw all funds immediately close my account and start a new account at a local credit union.
My checking account previously had no monthly service fee for account size. The bank quietly raised the minimum balance requirement without any notice I actually saw. No email, text alert, nothing they knew I’d actually see. They started deducting the fee directly from my account each month, which never happened before. When I called to complain, they said the change was noted “at the bottom of my statement.” I’m on paperless statements, so I don’t even read the very bottom of those. Never use this bank they’re crooks. They offered $425 for opening up a bank account. I did it. I met all the qualifications. They said I’d get it and then when everything is said and done, they refuse to give it to me. they’re nothing but crooks and pulse advertisement save yourself A lot of stress and never use this dump
In competence at its finest. Had official VA documents and it seemed like I need to give up my first born to get a fiduciary account opened. They weren't even able to able to fax documents to "corporate" correctly. This why I personally don't bank with them but unfortunately my elderly father does.
