Opening a checking account took an inordinate amount of time with the banker, extending beyond the allotted one hour. After finalizing all the paperwork with the banker our initial deposit (to formally open the account) gets taken by the banker to the teller window. The crazy part is that their protocol involves the banker standing IN THE REGULAR LINE. If I could submit this review without stars I would. I would NEVER open a bank acccount with this terrible bank! The way they treat POC is despicable. Even though they have paid millions in fines because of it, they are still doing it! My youngest daughter opened an account with them because she didn't know their history. I told her and she closed her account IMMEDIATELY! I would keep my money under my mattress before I would EVER open account with them!
I opened a new account at Wells Fargo and had the pleasure of working with Parita Patel. She was extremely kind, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. She explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made the experience smooth and stress-free. As a new customer, this was a fantastic start to my Wells Fargo experience. I truly appreciate her excellent customer service and professionalism!
