I have been a Wells Fargo customer since 2017 and am disappointed by the customer service I received during my recent branch visiton on 6/18/2026. I was told to sit down because someone would be coming to assist me. After waiting about 10 minutes, I learned that the employee was actually on a lunch break and would not be available for another 10–15 minutes. Went there yesterday to cash a check my mortgage company sent me after paying off our home. The check was made out to me and drawn off of Wells Fargo. I do have an account there with my daughter that I opened when she was a teenager. I don’t use the account but she uses it frequently. I went through the drive thru and sent in the check and my drivers license. The older lady with white hair started questioning about if I had an account. Always out of order. Just shut it down gasoline way too expensive to drive to Pomona. Smh
I had a pleasant surprise at Wells Fargo Bank in Point Pleasant New Jersey. I asked a personal banker named Perry how to put my debit card into my digital wallet in my phone. He didn't want to tell me, instead he took me to his desk and he did it while I watched. It's very rare to get that kind of help these days. He was great, thank you. There are a couple of other people that work there that I'd like to give a good review on, Jojo and Kathy. They are also very helpful when I go.
