I won a scholarship while at RCC. It was sponsored by Wells Fargo. I took a WF check to WF and they would not cash their own check. I took the check back to the school finance dept and the woman there had to go 3 levels up the chain of command at WF. Then I was allowed to take the WF check to WF and they cashed it. I did not have a bank account at the time as I was a student. Another time the state sent me a unemployment check on one of WFs cards. They would not let me have the money off of the card.
