I had a crazy experience on March 26 2026. A bank teller somehow misread i fo on her computer screen and said the guitar center check could not be cashed and was "deposit only". Very strange since I have had checks in past from guitar center corp. I left pretty ticked off. But Dawsonville location cashed with zero issues. I was on my lunch hour & stated qo when i walked in to get something notarized. I was told one notary was out to lunch and the other was with a customer that had a serious issue I told them I would bring a few minutes and sure enough the customer and the notary came out of the office and while the customer was dealing with the branch manager call Mom the notary just stood there and socialized with the customer while the branch manager was taken care of him knowing that I had been sitting here for about 20-25 minutes. Mickey was wonderful - friendly and helpful getting us a higher interest rate plus a significant incentive for upgrading our savings account.
Terrible service! Nobody there is happy to talk to you or helpful whatsoever. To top things off they have this joke of a man, i won’t say names, but he’s the only banker I’ve ever seen with nose ring.. He needs to be fired..
