I have banked with this branch for over four years and maintain a law firm IOLTA/trust account here. Until recently, deposits—including settlement checks—were handled without issue. Two months ago, the branch manager informed me that settlement checks would no longer be accepted for deposit unless I provide a client engagement/retainer agreement for each check or require my clients to appear in person at the branch. Went in to see if I could turn in my sons coins already rolled up in rolls, the teller said yes so I went home to get them when I come back it’s suddenly changed and now I can’t turn them in and I have to set up an account with the bank 🙃. Be better Wells Fargo!
