I was going to make a wire transfer from this bank. This institution is so unprofessional and so unfriendly. While sitting down with the banker, she accused my husband and myself of being involved in a fraudulent wire transfer in the past. It was unbelievable! This isnt about the experience, it’s about the new hours. I used to do all banking Saturday. Now they are closed Saturdays. Went at 5:30 pm and they are closed. Seriously, you do know people work and traffic in San Jose, if your going to close Saturday stay open till 6 pm weekdays. What a disappointment. You make 25 BILLION with B and you cant stay open an extra hour for your customers. All you care about is your bottom line… What a joke…..

Patricia refused to let me deposit a check claiming it was fraudulent. She would not listen to reason. I had a power of attorney for a friend. She originally refused to talk to the escrow company who issued the check. Do not go to Wells Fargo if you have a large check and expect professional service. I told Patricia that her refusal to listen would jeopardize my ability to purchase a property. She did not care. She would not even put the check on hold. Horrible customer service. I came in and was told by the teller that they couldn’t assist me and I needed to speak with a banker. I agreed and waited patiently. While waiting, a woman walked in, said she had a “quick question,” and was immediately helped by two bankers—even though I had already been waiting 45 minutes to an hour. If you have elderly parents this bank is not user friendly, nor does it accommodate elderly women who has a hard time getting in and out of a car and has to walk with a walking while willing her legs to work. Randall Green the bank manager told me he could not go out to the car to speak with her that she had to come inside to do business. When I told him she can hardly walk he told me that didn't matter she had to come in. Finally got her inside only to find her ID had expired because she doesn't drive anymore. The Johnston, Iowa location could really use some training on customer service. I have been in there multiply times and everyone is very unhappy and rude. The WF worker that walked away making a statement, you should learn some respect to your customers. I will continue to drive across town to do my business at the WF in Urbandale.
