I made the unfortunate mistake of parking in the Wells Fargo lot after hours on Friday night to patronize local businesses. I came out to find my car on a Jack’s flatbed truck. The driver demanded cash for an arbitrary drop fee, an excessive amount. He was aggressive in his demeanor. The signs which were posted did not specify an amount that could be charged for drop fees or towing but rather an extremely broad range leaving the amount apparently to the discretion of the driver. Allowing predatory towing from Jack's Towing is pathetic and will reflect on how people or even customers view your company.
This business obviously does not want to be a part of our downtown community. They have recently started towing vehicles from their parking lot WHEN THEY ARE CLOSED!! Every business has the right to restrict parking to their own customers during business hours but it is just "bad business " to do so when they are closed. Shame on you Wells Fargo in Mt. Holly!!
