I run a gold and silver business and regularly make large cash withdrawals—never an issue at other branches. Visited this location while in town and, after verifying everything, teller Darlene refused a cash withdrawal but offered a cashier’s check instead. Another teller indicated it could be processed, which made the situation even more confusing. Be warned! You need to read this!!! If a teller (at any Wells Fargo branch) makes a mistake by pulling money out of the wrong account which causes your account to fall below the required minimum and you get a service fee, don't expect this branch to even try to make things right. This happened to my elderly parents account back in February 2026 and the Tamaqua branch saw the mistake and fixed it. My Favorite Bank
Mildred was amazing! She took the time to set up two accounts for my teenage boys. She walked us through the best accounts to open. She then set up the accounts, online banking, mobile banking, and even helped them make their first deposits at the ATM and counter. She was a joy to spend time with. Super friendly and well educated on all processes. Highly recommended!
