Wells Fargo ups interest rate for good ratings customer My credit is in the upper 700's. No delinquents at all. Wells Fargo raised my interest rate on my credit card every month for 4 months. I got the run around when asking why and the reply was they can so they did. The CSR said it was a corporate decision. When I applied for an auto loan I wrote on the application that Wells Fargo NOT be used. The only way this bank would lower my interest rate was to open a business account with a $25,000 minimum. bank This bank caters to the 55 and over population of Sun City Grand. They are very professional and are not afraid to do business for you even if you don't have an account with them. This does not happen often in the banking business
