I am not a Wells Fargo customer (yet!) but visited the James Island branch on Maybank yesterday with a friend. From the moment we entered, it felt very positive, casual and welcoming. The teller, Byhira (please excuse my poor memory on the spelling of her beautiful name), was patient and genuinely friendly as my friend did their banking, despite being an out-of-state account holder, which can often create extra steps for them. Wanted to make a cash deposit through the drive through. The polite teller had to send the tube back and ask for an ID. To put my money (less than $100) in my account???? Wells Fargo has adopted a policy back in May that seems to accuse all cash customers of money laundering. Nothing but bad news about this bank every time I turn around. Time to ditch this bank
