As a customer making a substantial lump-sum payment to close out my auto loan, I expected a basic level of professionalism and courtesy. Unfortunately, this branch of Wells Fargo (Macon Rd, Columbus GA) fell short in every regard. The tellers were dismissive and unhelpful, and the branch manager showed no interest in addressing my concerns or ensuring the process was handled smoothly. At approximately 8:20 am on tuesday morning I walked into the bank and spoke to the most unmotivated and completely rude bank associate named Erin. She was wearing a cardigan and glasses and is the type of employee I, the manager at autozone which is located directly across the street, would terminate, effective immediately, with cause. Very helpful staff and employees
The Macon branch has no concept of customer service. They do not care when a customer is standing in line for almost a half hour, and it does not move because they are to busy fixing a computer problem, arriving late to work, or feel since they are in the drive thru that they cannot help the people that have been standing in line for an excessive amount of time.
