I want to share an experience I’ve still navigating through with Wells Fargo Advisors, specifically their Elgin Branch. I attempted to transfer funds out of Wells Fargo approximately a month ago. The transfer has been stonewalled repeatedly. Despite charging their termination fees and advisory fees. I still spent a ridiculous amount of time only to find that the information given to me at the branch location was later disputed at their main headquarters and thankful that all calls are recorded. have been a customer of wells fargo for long time, received a letter this summer that wells fargo was closing all local offices, esp one in south elgin, ill. wells fargo left NO INFO on any office to go to in the elgin area! have home loan, truck loan and credit card with wells fargo. need to refinance home loan with home modification program, no local office to go to for help, have to do over the phone and fax to IOWA office.
