My husband and I went here for a romantic getaway and fell in love with the old world charm of this place. I felt as if I was going back in time to a simpler more peaceful environment. We loved the mineral spring water in the pool and also attended a few classes that are free as a part of the resort fee. We also loved the quaint town of Safety Harbor.
The Spa on Tampa Bay was one of the most beautiful places I have worked. The hotel is kept very clean and the employees were very fun to work with. The employees there take much pride in their workplace. The view is awesome! You may also read stories on it being a "haunted" hotel. I often worked late hours and walked thru many dark banquet rooms ,hallways and elevators in the wee hours of the night and would sometimes think of the movie "The Shining". I came in to get their signature caviar manicure with French for my wedding and left very very disappointed. I'm used to very high-end service and I expected to get the same at this spa. There was no attention to the customer or detail. Minimum materials used, service done very quickly and sloppy. I refused the Fresh because it looked like someone dripped white nail polish all over my nails. Came home with white stains on my fingers.
