I was given the opportunity to sample life at Wellington West Retirement residence and was overwhelmed with the friendliness of both the residents and the staff. The decor is lovely, the food excellent and there are programs throughout the day to appeal to most people. On a scale of 10 out of 10, I would certainly choose 10. Beverley Rowan

I want to thank everyone at Wellington West for the wonderful care I received during my stay after my knee surgery. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel welcome, comfortable and supported. The Nurses, care staff and all team members were kind, patient and always willing to help. Their encouragement and cheerful attitude made my recovery so much easier. The meals were delicious, and the home had such a warm and peaceful atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Wellington West Retirement Home, a place to stay.

My mom moved to Wellington West initially for respite care to support her as she prepared for cataract surgery. Our family researched retirement homes in the city and made a short list of 3 that we wanted to tour. As we toured them, it became very obvious that Wellington West stood out as the clear choice. My mother came here from the hospital after surgery and later for respite care, she was going to move in permanently as a resident before this. What I witnessed was people who were kind and truly cared. I can only imagine what it must be like to care for people at the end of their life over and over again. The head chef, Jeff, made my mother a last wonderful meal of steak and potatoes with a mushroom sauce and desert. My husband spent 4 weeks at Wellington while I took a much needed respite vacation visiting with family and friends who live out of town. The location was ideal, the accommodations perfect, delicious meals, various fun activities, and the most friendly , caring , professional staff, highly recommend
