In my opinion, the owner(s) lied about being available for late arrivals, resulting in an 11:30 search for lodging whiuch was eventually found app 20 miles away in Rome, and getting in bed at 1:30 for a 4 hour nap before an early, guided, fishing trip.The operator/owner was apparently there, but would not respond to phone calls, doorbell or loud knocking.....Do yourself a favor and go to Weiss Lake Lodge, Centre, Alabama, where my group of four found hospitable, helpful, HONEST hosts, and practically brand-new, spotless room... read more
