Jan. 22, 2026 Carney location - Harford and Joppa Rd. I’m in my 50’s. I was with my adult son who has autism and is nonverbal. I was purchasing otc medicine for my other 2 children at home, who are really sick. I stood in line for 15-20 minutes due to store being crowded because of snow forecast. Why does the Weis in Tunkhannock PA insist on only open one registere. While two to three workers stand behind self check outs and talk. Open more registers and maybe I will come back to shop there. I don't like self check outs and they are hard for older people to use.
As reported in the school news paper (article below). Shame on Weis for not supporting the local Boy Scout troops in an effort to collect food for the local Food bank and most importantly Weis establish a food fundraiser on their own.
