I have been taking Mountain Dulcimer lessons for 5 months for an outstanding Weird Bird Music teacher, Jimmie. I booked him for lessons through 2026. I put music down before I had my drivers license, now as being retired I picked music up again. The pursuit is very rewarding, Jimmie is guiding me through many old time folk songs in a short order. I have learned a lot and highly recommend finding your musical interest at Taos's fine music studio in the center of town. It keeps that mental stimulation going.

I went to the Grateful Dead session with Tim Gallegos. He was excellent guide to explore the music of the dead. He adjusted his teaching to the various skill levels of the students. This was my second time at Weird Bird but was some well spent time (and money!)

We had an amazing experience with Weird Bird Music! We hired them to run a silent disco the night before our wedding, then to run sound and DJ our wedding day. The silent disco was fun for guests of all ages, with the audio being clear on all channels and everything running smoothly the whole night. On the wedding day, they arrived early to set up and ensure everything would run smoothly, and it did! Arielle is a phenomenal music teacher. She is a wizard at meeting my son where he is and supporting him to grow as a musician and DJ!
