This place is too musty/dusty so I really didn’t want to stay too long for my health. I scheduled an appointment for Monday at 10 AM, August 18, 2025, to get an insurance appraisal for my cello, but Andrew Weinstein the owner seemed not prepared and not knowledgeable. He initially took my cello to the back room for some reason, that really made me uncomfortable. I didn’t enjoy my experience with Weinstein Violins, I will not go back for any other services due to this experience.
My daughter and I are so grateful for Mr. Weinstein. The violins he offers produce beautiful sounds at fair prices. It's a very trustworthy violin shop.

Really helped me out in a pinch, and fit me in the same day I called. Was able to take care of the issue with my violin in about 30 minutes.
This violin shop is excellent in any way! Great selection of violins, and I am a professional player. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable. I had a great experience trying out his violins while I was passing Boston area! I highly recommend this shop to anyone at any level!
