I have been seeing Dawn at neighborhood wellness for the last 10 years. They have the best customer service in the area and my favorite PA Allison is the most knowledgeable and helpful person I’ve ever met in the field. If you’re ever thinking of hormone replacement, TRT or cosmetic things like XERF. Call and set up an appointment. You’ll see exactly what I mean.
I’m really frustrated with the staff and communication at this location. Every time I call, I seem to get different information. I was originally told I needed blood work for both my pellets and GLP. I had the blood work done in April, only to later be told that I actually needed to have it done after getting my pellets. Update: it's now been about 3 weeks, and this clinic has yet to refill one of my hormone replacements, despite my calls to both clinic & pharmacy. Pharmacist has sent several reminders to them. It's apparent that this place cares more about profit, NOT women's health. So unorganized. They forget to send my prescriptions to the pharmacy, and/or they send them to the wrong pharmacy. I am writing this review with an extremely heavy heart and tears in my eyes. I have been a patient of Neighborhood Wellness in New Braunfels for the past two to three years, and unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this practice to anyone seeking GLP-1 medications, testosterone therapy, weight-loss support, or any other medical care.
