I've only been here 10 days so I will alter this review as needed. First the good: I am here physical therapy and the PT staff is highly trained and motivated to help me reach my goal of getting home. The administrative staff has been quite helpful and transparent in processing from another facility. Now the not so good. The unit staff are either amazing or beyond unprofessional, there's no in between. They have Angels here amongst the nurses and CNAs. Excellent caring always friendly staff. From the managers, PTs, social worker,David S. Also the great nurses and nurses aides! We were delightfully surprised by the positive attitudes of everyone who came in the room. Would love to see more staff especially on night shift. Aides are excellent at what they do but the patient to aides ratio is twice what is humanly possible. So to the higher ups…. Please hire more people!!! And keep all the friendly positivity going!!
This building has been through alot of changes but the leadership team and staff really do care and are trying their best. Every building has it's challenges so if there is a problem, please address with the staff so they can correct it!
Wedgewood has come a long way in the last year. That's when our new administrator started, along with her our corporate liaison they have changed the whole atmosphere her. We also have a great Nurse Practioner. I'm in the process of trying to leave her and move forward in life, I have to add when I got here two years ago I couldn't walk and was diabetic. Now I walk with a prosthetic (no cane or walker) plus I'm no longer diabetic
