We newly opened the bank joint account around November 2024 in Webster bank. And unfortunately somehow our bank account got compromised within a month of opening the account. Someone was making purchases and paying their credit card bills using our joint account. We reported this incident after we came across looking at the statements. So they blocked the account and refunded our lost money within a week of reporting. They promised to refund the charges taken for checkbook.
