I have happily retired since 2019. My house seems way too big for me the older I get, would love to downsize as soon as possible. Tried “Taste of Senior Living” event for the 1st time on 7/16th. All staffs were friendly and professional, including the community’s van drivers, especially the young man in a flower Hawaii shirt, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Took a job as a “Maintenance assistant”. First day I walked they had me sign paperwork and get straight to work. 1)No orientation was done, 2)I had no training to this specific place or job, 3) I had to chase them down the first 3 days to get my fingerprints done so I can get paid, since no one wanted to even deal with me. 4)And then 2 days later I see the GM leaning against the doorway drinking a beer Modelo to be exact in the middle of the work day on leaning in the threshold of the his office. They should put Ziro star for bad facility like this one. Don't waste your time to apply job here mostly CNAS you will know about the director on a first training day other CNA will tell you.first thing if you work overtime here you will never get paid until you finish 6 months. I have never ever had this in my life this is crazy and madness..if you work holidays. You will never get paid until you finish 6 months with them. The worst place to work. !!
