This review is long overdue! Shirliey has helped me so much on my fertility and pregnancy journey and I can’t recommend her enough. I started seeing her to help ease my transition off birth control and she really helped prepare my body and I was able to conceive in a few months! I’ve had a very smooth pregnancy so far, which I owe to her care. Shirliey helped me throughout my fertility journey and I would recommend her to anyone who is trying to have a baby or managing pregnancy symptoms. She has a positive and caring demeanor and I always looked forward to going to an acupuncture session. She also helped me fix a sharp elbow pain I was experiencing in just a single session. After working with Shirliey, I truly believe in the healing power of acupuncture!
I see many good reviews here, but my experience was the complete opposite. From the start, this place felt more focused on nickel-and-diming than actual healing. I was charged $5 to print two pages during my first visit (even though I don’t have access to a printer and already emailed the practitioner my paperwork). Later, she wants to charge me another $5 for a disposable mask because I was in a rush and forgot to bring one—something that costs pennies, especially when bought in bulk. Shirliey is wonderful. I started seeing her primarily to address some persistent joint pain, and after a few months of treatment my symptoms are noticeably better. She also noticed and helped me understand how related issues (stress, sleep, nutrition) might be impacting my ability to heal, and helped me to address those, too. I really appreciate her knowledgeable, pragmatic approach, and I actively look forward to her treatments -- she creates such a supportive, calm atmosphere in the office. So glad to have found her.
