Honestly I was so excited for a deep tissue massage. I can’t remember the girls name that did the massage but I was waiting the entire time for the actual massaging to begin.. she never once worked her fingers in or touched on any of my knots and tightness. It was so soft and she basically used her palms and forearms on me and that’s it. It was a full body so I expected her to work my hips and get in there.. not at all. Hires unethical staff even with complaints to their governing bodies. Claims to be "non-judgmental" with "expertise" in mental health yet their employee utilized her title for her own personal gain and benefit with a local organization. Their employee also illegally shared my medical documents from a complaint through the CRPO with the police, in an attempt to charge me. Not very trauma-informed, very judgemental, and zero expertise in anything cognitive. HRTO and IPC legal proceedings are ongoing. Consumer be aware.
I have attended several yoga and meditation classes, received massage, esthetician and energy work at We Thrive and all was top-notch! It is my favourite place to go- such a comfortable, welcoming space and people here!
