We were looking for someone who could identify and assess oral ties for infants. The most important thing when it comes to ties is function. If a baby has a tongue or lip tie, but it can function pretty much normally without that much restriction then surgery isn’t always required. Working with Brittany has been amazing! We did a few sessions early on with her to understand best feeding habits for our son. She was extremely gentle and very thorough with her evaluation and recommendations. It was easy to schedule sessions with her and she was always very responsive to our questions. I’d recommend working with her and will reach out to her again in the future if we need any help!
We had an amazing experience with Brittney at Wayz to Play. Our daughter was born with a tie tongue which we got released when she was 10 days old. From there we went and saw Brittney who educated us and showed us different ways we can help our daughter learn how to use her tongue, proper latching techniques, and different stretches. She has really excelled and we saw a tremendous improvement with breastfeeding and her overall development
I loved working with Brittany! She is such an amazing OT, and really helped my son Luca who had oral ties, torticollis and side preference. She has great bedside manner, is super educated, and translates information in such a way that makes it easy for parents to understand. I felt comfortable asking her questions and most importantly, entrusting her with my son’s care. Brittany is the best! I'm a pediatric OT and new mom but babies are not my specialty. Needless to say I did my research when it came to looking for OTs for my baby to find the best of the best: I brought my baby to Brittany for recommendations regarding her tongue/lip/buccal ties and any body work I could do to help her.
