Wow! Best deli and butcher on the North Fork. And the South Fork. And maybe on Long Island. Delicious meats and personable staff. Sandwiches and heroes are so generous. Everything is delicious. They take their time and take care of you here. Worth the trip and make sure you come back!
First negative google review of all time FYI prices are expensive, which is understandable given location and the fact almost everything is expensive these days. However no excuses for not putting prices on menu. Feels very manipulative. Our experience was really bad. Sandwiches took a very long time to make, around 30-minutes. Unfortunately I don't recommend Wayside Market!! Horrible service, never going back again!! PT gave me a piece of chicken Cutlets to try and I burnt my tongue!! Horrible Service like I said!!
My mom stopped for a sandwhich last week and she has COPD and trouble walking. PT was a perfect gentleman and helped her to the car and gave her a card so she didn’t have to come in if she couldn’t. They would run it out to her. The food is great, you get a lot. Ask about the mini sandwiches. They are less meat and couple dollars less.
