My Day with a Waymo Driverless Car After spending a full day using Waymo's driverless cars, I'm thoroughly impressed. The ride itself is noticeably smoother than a typical taxi or ride-share with a human driver. What really stands out is the feeling of safety. In SF with friends. Tried using Waymo car to go to pier 33 for Alcatraz tour. Car never arrived. We certainly saw it on the adjacent street but it never stop to whete we could catch it in time. Alcatraz tickets were not refundable so lost $120! THANKS FOT NOTHING WAYMO!
Trying this out for the first time in Los Angeles left me speechless. I wouldn’t tell the difference between Waymo and a real driver, and the ride is just more comfortable overall.
