Family member sent from hospital for non acute short term rehab, 12 days. Staff were kind, many working hard. Facility is OUTDATED & should be renovated ASAP.. 4 patients in a room, separated by thin curtains. Almost NO outdoor space (tiny patio). PT room tiny. Most patients advanced dementia, no speaking. Since no beds open other places, 28 days went by. Upsetting families have to research & wait for elder care.I emailed the owners but haven't heard back. I wouldn’t even give 1 star if it wasn’t for some of the staff who were nice. I would walk in every morning to se my friend in diarrhea and her breakfast tray sitting in front of her and they walk away. No help. That went on for almost 2 weeks until she was discharged.

I have worked for Royal Wayland for the past 7 years. I am proud of the fact the people who I work with are committed to the care and well being of the residents that work here. I am also proud to the fact that when families and employees enter the building the first people they meet are our Administrator Barbara and our DON Laura who above all else put the care of our residents and employees come first.
