The team at Waverley Valley assisted me immensely during a very difficult time with my father. They really and absolutely went above and beyond what one can expect. Their kindness and compassion, willingness to solve problems, accommodate approaches and all-round humanity makes this team wonderful to deal with. Visited my aunt several times when she was living at WVCC. At first, the carers and staff appeared extremely caring , helpful and polite. As time went by, the shocking truth unveiled that this only happened when family and visitors were there. I feel so so sad for my late aunty and the other residents who suffer in silence.
Dad moved into Waverley Valley Care Community after significant medical issues and had always dreaded going into care. The staff actively involved him in activities from the start, and his mood lifted over time. He adjusted much better than we thought he would due to this. Staff were kind and caring, particularly when dad became ill again, and passed away. Many thanks to the staff who looked after Dad, and made his last couple of years as good as they could have been.
My father became a resident of Waverley Valley Care Community (WVCC) in 2024 following a significant shift in his health. Since his initial stay for Respite, the team at WVCC have embraced and supported him in every possible way. The medical and nursing care has been excellent and enabled him to regain an improved health position. We are always fully briefed on any health changes of Dad's health to ensure we know exactly what is happening.
