Bloody what a take away shop. These guys work their arse off. Definitely be back for a chook one day.
Well my lesson was learnt today. I have always enjoyed the chickens from here. Today being lazy & not wanting to stop again on my way home, I bought a BBQ chook in Port Macquarie. Well $8 dearer & not seasoned/stuffed nicely. I will not be going back there again. I'll wait till I'm back in Wauchope.
This was the second time we have been here. First time chicken and chips was not very good, but thought we would try again as we wanted a half piece of chicken. Now I know it’s charcoal chicken but this was burnt chicken. Outside skin was inedible, and inside was hard and dry, the wing I tried to eat but could not get the skin off at all and I could not even break apart each piece of the wing.
