We have been coming here for sometime. We had really enjoyed it until we recently found out that the free play area was no longer available. I think letting go of that one lifeguard that was there on Fridays was a big mistake. He really cared for the kids and spoke to them when something inappropriate happened and really controlled the flow of the pool. I’m assuming something happened to close that side down. Updated review: I’m very displeased with Waterworks Pasadena’s recent decision to completely close the play area. My son has been taking lessons here and has genuinely enjoyed both his swim lessons and the play area before/after class. I have even previously left multiple 5-star reviews because we had been very happy with our experience. I understand the need to address safety concerns. I been here for a very long time. I had my fare share of good and bad. 1. I love my instructors Mr. Detleft and Miss. Yudith. They are amazing 🤩 2. Im not so happy to the fact that some parents abuse the free pool time. They offer 10 minutes and I been noticing that I arrive 10 minutes before lessons and same people are in the kiddos pool, my son lesson is over, same people in and is difficult for other kids to enjoy those 10 minutes because 1 hour has passed a d same people are in the pool. We had such a wonderful experience at Waterworks Aquatics for our daughters birthday! Everything went smoothly, and the staff were incredibly helpful, attentive, and professional. The team went above and beyond, checking in throughout the party and stepping in whenever they saw we needed assistance.
