I first came to know about Watermere through a friend whose mother was in residence. My parents were living in California and during a Christmas holiday I took them by to see Watermere. They were previously adamant about not moving to Texas, but after seeing the grounds, the amenities, the community and the golf, they made the move to Watermere. This facility is beautiful. Well maintained and the staff is above reproach.
Update 5-13-24 they have new kitchen management and the food is now very good. Congratulations to the staff at Watermere.
Unfortunately the food in the dinning room is consistently substandard. The photo is of a $34 filet that I ordered medium, it came to the table raw, I sent it back and the photo is what I got, still raw.
