We moved to Northern California and were recommended to Waterman by a very reliable high profile corporate colleague. I contacted him to do our taxes in November of last year to see if he was interested. He said he was and told us to gather information for him about our previous taxes and get them to him. Waste of time. Without getting to personal about the situation, he lost me hundreds of dollars because he felt delaying my taxes so that he could handle other client's issues was a responsible way to treat a new client. Perhaps he was trying to lock me into his services, but overall he just didn't do his job until there was a complaint.
