My husband and I have lived at the Waterford Grand for six months. This is a modern version of a retirement residence, something I don’t believe existed a decade ago. It is very welcoming, offers many amenities, caring staff, and a dining lounge for meals. We have made friends with many other residents and are proud to show off our new home to family and friends.
Came to check out the place. Friendly staff, fast elevators, 2 banks of them! Lovely building and amenities. The lobby feels very high end hotel! Services looks great and the family who owns this was in hospitality industry for many years. Friday night live entertainment and they make space for a little dance floor. The Waterford Grand is my father’s 4th retirement home in as many years (even though it was my first choice for him when he moved to Ottawa ;-)). The staff has been exceptional in helping him to adjust. The food is 5*, as are the programs and entertainment. He is busier and happier than I have seen him in a very long time.
