Great facility, great idea for memory care needs, poor management and unfair treatment of family members. My dad is kept here pretty much against his will per decisions made by a POA who had no close relationship with him. The cost is $7,622.00 per month. My sisters and I had to fight the staff and director in order to place a camera in his room. I very rarely give five star reviews but if you know anything about Assisted Living facilities, you'll understand my five star rating. My mom has been there for three years now. I did my research and visited several different facilities before deciding on this place. Having worked in the industry I knew what to look for and what was a "red flag." The Meridian at Carolina Lakes is the nicest facility in the area. State of the art care is provided by a truly compassionate staff. Residents are treated with respect and dignity.
