Water wheel farm is a truly amazing place to come and visit. The owner and her family are very friendly and hospitable. The farm is beautiful and I've never seen such a clean pig pen. The horses are well mannered and my children enjoyed riding them. The meat and produce purchased there is way better than anything I've found in local stores. I'm saddened to see such an influx of poor reviews all of a sudden since I know Shannon will go above and beyond for any of her guests. My family can't wait to go back.

A complete ripoff. Terrible accomodations, a truly foul host, and a complete lack of everything promised by the owner. Shannon Helms has been fleecing tourists at this place long enough for the local sheriff to know her by both name and reputation. Oh, and she will never refund one red cent, so kiss your money goodbye if you are unfortunate enough to stay at the Water Wheel Farm. Only come here if you want your money stolen, and the police called on you by a mocking, terrible human being named Shannon Booked a month, after one night I was thrown out by the owner and she kept all of our money.
