This morning I missed my Friday garbage pick up in Springlake so I desided to take my bagged waste to the Waste Connection main office. I was met by Terry( I believe that was her name) and she was extremely helpful in helping me dispose of my waste bags!!! Thank you Terry for going out of your way and helping me resolve my need!!! You are awesome!!!!

So after the hurricane they pick up the cans but not the trash next to the can? 3 small bags??? Could have honked the horn and I could have done it. But why you pick up everyone else’s small bags…. I try to make it easy for them and even offer water and drinks along with help every time I think it’s a heavy item. Could have just asked for help or honked the horn for the 3 less than 2 pound bags… now I have to clean all the mess up from the animals that ripped the bags up and it’s flying in the neighbors yard having causing t... read more

Called code enforcement for something that was not even on my property after Hurricane. Then of course code enforcement found a violation on my property. Absolutely unexceptable.

The employee who was very courteous and professional to come back at 2150 North Roxbury Rd in Avon Park Lakes on 11/20/25. The truck driver who I didn't get his name. Is an Awesome person and very important part of Waste Connections and our community. Thank you Sir again and God bless you. Grateful for people like you. Sincerely! Sean McCollum. ("Homeowner").

On multiple occasions City of Avon Park FL garbage trucks speed at double the speed limit of 15mph creating hazardous conditions for our elderly population here in CrystalLakeClub. I have reported it to Highlands County Sheriff's Department and these unprofessional employees continue to operate heavy equipment on our roads in an unsafe, unprofessional manner. Seems that the Sheriff's Dept supports these behaviors.
