A top notch university and teaching hospital.
My concern with WashU Medicine is their lack of billing transparency. My child was scheduled for a preventive well-child exam. During the visit, the physician noticed poison ivy on his arm. We already knew about it, had been treating it with cortisone for about a week, and I explained that we were familiar with the condition. We did not schedule the appointment for poison ivy or ask for it to be evaluated or treated. The physician chose to discuss it and send in prescription cortisone.
