Teller told me years ago to leave my checking account open, just in case. I was hit with a $20 inactivity fee, even though I frequent the bank to make deposits on my CD? Asked them to reverse the charge and they told me they couldn't? I had a $4000 deposit to make, but closed my account and walked out over $20? Not a good business decision on their part!

Tony - I cant thank you enough for your hustle and attentiveness to the issue I sprang on you this morning! Washington Trust always goes above and beyond but today I had an issue with our direct deposit and Tony in the EG branch saved my behind. He worked with Cash MGT to get our employees paid day of. I cant thank you enough and big shout out to the entire team! I would chose Washington Trust again and again.
