I know the staff deal with a lot of people everyday but the way they treat the families of the residents and the residents themselves is very disrespectful, they often seem annoyed. when we first took my grandfather there was food crumbs all over the drawers, they then kept him in his hospital gown all day, left all of his stuff on the floor in bags, he also wasn’t bathed for a week. the food is green and orange mush, they don’t know anything about the residents or care to ask. I am a local funeral director and unfortunately get to know the nursing homes in the area pretty well. Upon visiting WSL my first impression as I walked in the door was how clean the building smelled. It was warm and smelled freshly disinfected and fresh without being over powering. Every staff member greeted me with kindness and offered to assist me. The only reason I am not leaving a 5 star review based on my experience is the fact that the rooms are slightly outdated.
