Abby is fantastic to work with! I couldn't recommend her more. I've had multiple surgeries on both knees and came to her with recurring pain and lack of mobility after a meniscus repair in my left knee in January. She worked with me to reduce pain (to nothing), gain mobility, and recover strength. Her knowledge base is clearly evident and she is incredibly detail-oriented and professional. When you work with her, your issue becomes her issue and she makes you feel like you're on a team working together toward your goals. She... read more
Abby is THE BEST! As a queer/trans person, I have never felt more comfortable doing any kind of body work or in any fitness setting than I did with Abby. Over a few sessions, I learned so much about my own body and strengths and how to work on an issue I was dealing with due to general stress/HIIT workouts. 1000% recommend
Warrior Rx helped me recover from a shoulder injury in a matter of a month. Abby is excellent in the field of sports injuries. She programmed my shoulder rehabilitation workouts that could translate to building strength for certain crossfit exercises that I encounter on a daily basis. I highly recommend Warrior Rx to anyone who it looking for a knowledgeable DPT, whose ultimate goal is to help you recover and get back to your normal routine.
Abby is great! She knows what she's doing and I trust her with my body 100%! The exercises she prescribes and her recommendations of staying active (and not just resting and icing) while working on my problems is exactly the type of treatment I was looking for. She is always available to answer my questions and takes the time needed to explain what I should be doing. Warrior RX is my 1 and only stop when it comes to PT.
The shoulder pain I was experiencing was interfering with my love for CrossFit and Olympic weight lifting and the ability to fully engage in challenging shoulder movements. The constant pain was also keeping me awake at night. After a visit to a physical therapist, I was advised to discontinue particular CrossFit movements as well as overhead barbell lifts. I sought a 2nd opinion and found Abby Bird, DPT and owner of Warrior Rx. I hit the jackpot in finding a PT who is extremely knowledgeable in her profession, and is also a... read more
