Absolutely worst Bank of all time. Save yourself the trouble and go to fiber Federal credit Union or a different credit union. Not only are there loan officers horrible at responding, the app is absolutely the worst and you cannot access your credit card information through their app as it's third party, in addition to that, I deposited a $8,000 check from one of my own Wells Fargo accounts into this Wauna account and they put a 10-day hold on my money all business days. Absolutely ridiculous
Wauna Credit Union’s incompetence and poor communication cost me dearly. Despite providing documented proof of loan payments (including Bank of America confirmations and FHDA overnight mail receipts), they labeled my account as “in default” and allowed a third party to repossess my Toyota at 4AM. Their lawyer Gina ignored repeated attempts to resolve the issue, relying on generic email templates and refusing to verify bank records. Can never reach anyone on the phone
This is directed at Wauna management, not regular employees trying to do their jobs amid chaos. Over the last few years, instead of improving services and reaching out to their members, Wauna has instead honed their skills of gaslighting and misdirecting people to a brick wall of unanswered phone calls and broken online systems.
