Ward will take your shipment and hand it off to another carrier who will hand it off to another carrier who will then of course hand it off to another carrier. From there, they wash their hands of any issues. I will never book freight with this carrier again.
It's amazing how they can apparently always be late while routinely speeding.
Ordered something from a retailer who used Ward for their delivery. I received a call from a very nice person scheduling my delivery for a time frame between X and Y hours. I called back later and spoke to another nice person to give them my contact number for the courtesy call. No courtesy call was made (even to explain that it would not be delivered as agreed), and the time came and went. Oct. 18 2023. One of their trucks turning around in my business lot slammed into a big rock moving it several feet. I got in contact and they said to get an estimate for a fix. No problem it’s not a big deal. No calls or communication and rude whenever they did after that. Now I have customers coming close to hitting the rock. I should have filed a police report and my business insurance for hit and run, reckless driving. Leaving the scene of an accident. I guess they don’t tell you to not hit boulders when you get your cdl
