Ordered something from a retailer who used Ward for their delivery. I received a call from a very nice person scheduling my delivery for a time frame between X and Y hours. I called back later and spoke to another nice person to give them my contact number for the courtesy call. No courtesy call was made (even to explain that it would not be delivered as agreed), and the time came and went. Oct. 18 2023. One of their trucks turning around in my business lot slammed into a big rock moving it several feet. I got in contact and they said to get an estimate for a fix. No problem it’s not a big deal. No calls or communication and rude whenever they did after that. Now I have customers coming close to hitting the rock. I should have filed a police report and my business insurance for hit and run, reckless driving. Leaving the scene of an accident. I guess they don’t tell you to not hit boulders when you get your cdl
Ward Trucking is a disreputable logistics company. They lack accountability for their mistakes, provide erroneous delivery dates, and have rude customer service. If you made the mistake of having something shipped by Ward, I would contact them immediately to find out the following: - actual delivery date (not what’s listed as they will tell you they aren’t the same…odd) - if they are brokering to a third party transporter and the contact info for them - if an appointment is required for your delivery so that it isn’t held up... read more
