Corner Kid Back in the early 1950s, I and my two brothers were foster kids living with a family whose property bordered Wanker's Corner. I remember Jack Wanker very well. One of the nicest, friendliest guys one could hope to meet. He visited our house many times. Us kids used to buy candy and peanuts there with our strawberry picking money. Sometimes mom sent us up to buy something she needed for home cooked meals. She really knew how.
georgia q the last time i wasthere was 1950 and it burnt later and than rebuilt and in 1974 i was thre again vey wonderful store always as my aunt eva and uncle merle critchfield worked for jack wanker in the 50 s always very comfortable store and tavern wonderful items there usually one of a kind items and specialtys
Wankers Country Store Wankers Country Store is a neat little store. It's always nice to go in here just to look around. Of course we always end up buying something here anway. Great little country store.
Gotta love wankers Anyone who has grown up in this area has grown up with wankers. It's a really cute corner store, with a saloon next door. It makes me feel like I'm in an old western movie.
Nice store This strore has what you would expect from a corner store. The service is always great and they are always stocked up on everything. I like that I can get a good cuop of coffee there.
