I found Celtic Crossroads about 20 years ago (back when it was still called "Wandering Angus") and ever since it's been one of the reasons I would consider driving two hours to Port Townsend. Cool people, good chats, and they carry a lot of neat stuff that you just don't find "in the wild" anywhere else.
What a charming store, full of beautiful items!
It kind of kills me to write this, but I feel it needs said. I've looked all over for fine wares and custom clothing options. Some are better than others. I feel like I was misled about just how "Custom tailored" the kilt I ordered was. Please don't get me wrong, Debbie (Owner) and her family are wonderful people. I received wonderful, if misinformed service. That's why it hurt so much when I got my order and it wasn't at all what was described to me. This was our favorite shop on our trip to the northwest. Beautiful hats, sweaters, scarves, and jewelry all from Ireland. Everything was very well-made and priced.
Highly recommend this shop for higher-end UK outerwear; just gorgeous craftsmanship and most of it made for weather similar to the PNW. Some amazing deals as well - I purchased a beautiful Jack Murphy weatherproof coat for ~60% of the advertised Jack Murphy retail price (granted it was on sale, but the other clothing seems to be essentially sold at Uk retail cost without markup). Plus! The proprietor is absolutely lovely and genuine. Will be back for holiday shopping.
