Walt Shurden Law has been invaluable to our family On Valentine’s Day my mother was unexpectedly hospitalized, and her care needs drastically changed. No longer able to feed herself or think clearly, our family was suddenly thrust into navigating how to afford the long term skilled care that she so needs. We had the good fortune to be referred to Walt Shurden to provide needed guidance for an emergency Medicaid application to meet that end. Walt and Jennifer made a good team. They made themselves available for questions and were good listeners. They also helped my 3 long distance siblings understand the process. They were patient, very clear on what was needed, broke my assignments into manageable segments, and they were all the while very calming. We felt this approach resulted in minimizing the length of time for receipt of Medicaid approval. Minimizing the completion time enabled us to afford mother’s needed care, and their assistance.
