I wanted to rate this as a 00. I called to make an apt because it says on the website she accepts Medicaid. The lady on the line was so rude. I even called back to see if she accepted Ambetter insurance, which I also have. The woman who answers her phone, was so rude and abrupt. She said the "Dr is a private contractor who works for herself, not Wal Mart". Then continued, "She does not accept Medicaid or Ambetter". She will take cash however. Worse experience ever. I set my appointment three weeks ago was insured they would accept my insurance on two separate occasions. Came in for my appointment today and have been sitting for 20 mins for them to pull my insurance information. Than was told it slipped through the cracks and I should have been called before. Horrible system. My autistic adult son and I came here for the first time to get an exam and glasses. The exam was wonderful. However, the nightmare began afterwards. They did not pull up my insurance info as I was previously told they did before the visit. It was a fiasco and I was there for hours, left and came back while they were tracking down my insurance info so that we could proceed with our purchase.
